Privacy Policy
We wrote this in plain English. If you have questions about anything here, email us and we will answer directly.
The short version: We collect only what we need to operate this directory and respond to your requests. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with contractors without your explicit request. You can ask us to delete what we have about you at any time.
Who We Are
SafeHome Registry (safehomeregistry.com) is an independent reference directory for aging-in-place home modification specialists across the Southern United States. We are privately owned and operated.

What Information We Collect and Why
1. Home Safety Checklist Request (Email Form)
When you request our free 12-Point Home Safety Checklist, we collect your email address. We use this to send you the checklist and occasional follow-up resources related to aging-in-place home safety in your region.
We do not share this email address with contractors, third-party marketers, or data brokers. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link in each message.
2. Contractor Quote Request Form
When you submit a quote request through our matching service, we collect your name, ZIP code, phone number or email address, and project type. We use this information to route your request to aging-in-place contractors who serve your area and match your stated project needs.
Important: By submitting a quote request, you are authorizing SafeHome Registry to share your contact information with relevant local contractors for the purpose of responding to your request. We route your request to local specialists — we do not sell your information into open lead marketplaces or share it with contractors outside your stated service area.
Quote request data is retained for up to 12 months for service quality purposes, then deleted.
3. Contractor Premium Profile Claim Form
When a contractor claims or upgrades their profile, we collect business name, contact name, phone number, email address, service area, and any additional profile information submitted. We use this to verify the claim, communicate about profile status, and display approved information in the directory.
Contractor business information that appears in the public directory is treated as public business data. Contact information submitted for internal account management is not displayed publicly without explicit approval.
4. Automatic Technical Data (Analytics)
Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — which pages are visited, how long users stay, and where traffic comes from. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Google Analytics may set cookies on your device. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Our site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify may log server access data (IP addresses, browser type, page requests) as part of standard hosting operations. Netlify's privacy practices are governed by their privacy policy.
